Wonderful mountain day trip hike to escape the hustle and bustle of city life
Our trekking adventure was one of the major highlights of our Italy vacation. It was wonderful escaping the city (Florence) to this beautiful town and area only a short 30 minute train ride. We took the cable car route with spectacular views. The hike itself was about 5 miles and only had one short semi steep climb. Michel was all about taking breaks as needed and moving at a pace that would work for the group. Views on the mountain were breathtaking. Lunch at the lodge at the top of the mountain was delicious. Michel was an excellent guide and provided a lot of great information about the area. Hiking shoes are preferable for the trek, but we managed with running shoes. Additionally, weather was so nice on the mountain as it was a bit windy and cool, a great reprieve from the heat in the city. Highly recommend!

Relaxing cool day walking in the stunning italian mountains - My wife and I spent a spectacular day with Michel, perhaps the highlight of our Italy vacation! This hike was EMPTY - we saw a few locals along the way, but it was completely devoid of tourists. After spending many days navigating crowds in Venice, Florence, and Cinque Terre, this undiscovered locale was magical.

Best Tuscany hiking with the best and most charming guide! - It’s not the first time we have taken a tour with Michel - we have been taking a few tours with him a year for the last four years… And we (my wife, my teenage daughter, and sometimes a teenage friend of hers) will never get tired of his great company! And always look forward for the next one! Most certainly and most sincerely recommend it to anyone who would like to explore a not-so-touristic Tuscany and feel the local beat! Cheers! Michel was excellent and the tour was fun and very informative! He was kind and very knowledgeable! - Words cannot express the excellence this tour presented to us! Coming from the US, we weren't familiar with this area! Michel was thoughtful and explained everything including the plant species. His knowledge of winemaking was excellent and his tasting recommendations were spot on! We highly recommend this tour! You will not be disappointed!
